DOUBLE BARREL M-FLARES ! Departing Active Region 11520 has left the earth facing side of the disk with a bang producing two M-Class flares today. M6.7 at 05:41 and M7.7 at 05:58 UTC. Type II and Type IV Sweep Frequency Events resulted and a 10cm Radio Burtst (TenFlare). Large coronal mass ejection(CME) is now in progress but is not earth directed.
MAJOR X-CLASS SOLAR FLARE ! Active Region 12017 has unleashed an impulsive X1-class solar flare at 17:48 UTC yesterday. A strong coronal mass ejection (CME) has been released from the solar corona with the main bulk heading northward, due to the size of the eruption and the position of the active region at the time of this event, a glancing blow, components of this eruption could be heading earths way late April 2nd where aurora could be possible at very high latitudes.

MAJOR X-1.4 SOLAR FLARE AND EARTH DIRECTED CME ! Active Region 11520 unleashed a Major X1.4 at 16:47 UTC July 12th. Associated with this blast was a Strong R3 Radio Blackout/Fade out over central America. As this active region was earth-facing a very strong Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) is now Earth-Bound with impact projected late July 14 to Early July 15th where strong Geomagnetic storms will be possible.

M1.7 SOLAR FLARE AND HUGE CME ! A long duration M1.7 solar flare from departing Active Region 11520 yesterday was followed up with a huge coronal mass ejection (CME). Analysis indicates that this blast will not affect the earth, associated with this event is a S2 Level Radiation Storm
FAREWELL M6.9 SOLAR FLARE FROM SUNSPOT 1515 ! Monster Sunspot 1515 left with a bang by producing an M6.9 solar flare at 16:32 UTC today and will rotate off the disk in the next 12 hours. A Huge Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) billowed out into space shortly after but is not earthbound or directed.
