A solar flare peaking to M1.6 was reported at 04:13 UTC from Active Region 11560. The eruption was not in an earth-facing position and no visible Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) at the time of this recording. more information shortly.

MAJOR M9-CLASS SOLAR FLARE !
Newly numbered active region 12297 unleashed a major M9.2 solar flare at 22:22 UTC yesterday evening. Associated with this event was a Type II and IV radio emissions and a very large coronal mass ejection (CME), which may have an earth-bound component delivering a glancing blow on earth's magnetic field sometime March 10th where geomagnetic storms will be possible.

ANOTHER X-CLASS SOLAR FLARE !!
New Active Region 12087 turning the eastern limb continues to unleash major solar flares after yesterdays two X-Flares the active region produced its 3rd major solar eruption inside of 24 hours with an X1.0 registered at 9:06 am UTC. Today's blast does not have a strong Coronal Mass Ejection associated as the eruption itself was short lasting and impulsive.
