CME IMPACT & G3 CLASS GEOMAGNETIC STORM !! CME Impact & G3 Class Geomagnetic Storm The Sep 28th Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) impacted Earth's magnetic field at 22:20UTC last night sparking strong Geomagnetic storms at high latitudes today. The Bz component of the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) sharply deviated to -35 nT during the impact. A weak interplanetary shock wave hit Earth at 10:20 UT followed by a stronger CME strike at approximately 22:20 UT. Earth's magnetic field is still reverberating in response to these impacts.

GPM/GMI precipitation rates are displayed as the camera moves in on the storm. A slicing place move across the volume to display precipitation rates throughout the structure of the storm. Shades of green to red represent liquid precipitation extending down to the ground.

Volcano / Earthquake Watch March 20-25, 2015 Targeting a strong negative polarity Coronal Hole (CH659) on the solar corona. After further analysis i have isolated an area (39-44°N latitude). This coronal hole may itself be a foreshadow for a 7.0 Magnitude earthquake in one of these listed locations during this watch period:
Los Lagos, Chile--Tasmania--Prince Edward Islands--New Zealand Forecast Magnitude 6.7-7.0
