Strong M7.9 Solar Flare & G2 Class Geomagnetic Storm - June 25, 2015
Active Region 12371 unleashed another strong solar flare, the latest registering a M7.9 at 08:16 UTC this morning. Associated with this event was a Type II radio emission with an estimated velocity of 2056 km/s. A coronal mass ejection (CME) is now visible in the latest imagery and there maybe an Earth directed component that should deliver a glancing blow on earths magnetic field sometime June 28 and spark geomagnetic storms. So more auroras should be visible at high latitudes late June 28 into June 29.

FILAMENT ERUPTION & EARTH DIRECTED CME !!
A Magnetic Filament has erupted around AR 11608 while in an earth facing position. The eruption produced a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) with components heading towards earth. ETA or impact is forecasted for Nov 13th

Strong M6.5 Solar Flare & Earth Directed CME - June 22, 2015
Active Region 12371 unleashed a strong M6.5 Solar Flare at 17:40 UTC. A full Halo Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) has followed this eruption and based on latest imagery another significant impact on Earth's magnetic field is expected sometime on June 26 where auroras should be visible mid-to high latitudes. Earlier today a powerful direct hit and a G4-Class Geomagnetic storm resulted from a flurry of low end M-Class solar flares two days ago. High solar activity is expected to continue until AR 12371 rotates off the solar disk July 2nd.
