MAJOR X-FLARE !! A Major X3.3 Solar Flare was registered from active region 11890 at 22:12 UTC. A series of energetic Coronal Mass Ejections (CME's) have been observed from this active region over the last 24 hours, all of which have been directed well south of the ecliptic. Associated with this eruption was a 10cm Radio Burst (TenFlare) reaching 400 Solar Flux Units and a Type II Sweep Frequency Event.
