Dim lights

M 7.9 SOLAR FLARE & HALO CME  !!
A strong M 7.9 Solar Flare was recorded from solar Active Region 11429 earlier today. A Halo CME was produced shortly after, and is expected to deliver a glancing blow to earths magnetic field sometime March 16th. Associated with this event were a R2 Radio Blackout and a Type II Radio Emission with a velocity of 1366 km/s was monitored. And a significant proton event is now in progress.
